Sí Se Puede: Hope-inspired design for Centro San Antonio

The uncertainty of COVID-19 has had an effect on the entire city of San Antonio. With Fiesta being canceled and the streets being empty, many residents were looking for a sign of hope during this time of self-isolation.
That is exactly what Centro San Antonio set out to provide with their Sí Se Puede campaign.
Andi Rodriguez, Centro’s Vice President of Urban Planning, created 50 heart-shaped posters and hung them around some of San Antonio’s most visited spots, such as the River Walk, Travis Park, and the Blue Star Arts Complex. San Antonio residents loved and appreciated the campaign so much that they “reciprocated the encouragement with friendly honks and waves.” Residents have also started to use #SíSePuede to support the city during this difficult time.Tribu had the opportunity to bring this message of hope to different digital platforms by translating the heart-shaped posters into various designs that can be used on social media & on Zoom.By incorporating some of San Antonio’s most recognizable downtown spots (like the Frost Tower, the Alamo, La Antorcha de la Amistad, the Tower of the Americas, and more), our goal was to create sharable designs that would bring a message of hope to the San Antonio community.
